I am starting a new position as a Technology Design Coach in a whole new Technology Integration Department in Austin ISD!
I am excited about this new position. It is great to be able to help build a new department in well-established school district.
I’ve been in AISD from the very start of my teaching career in 2001. I taught 7th and 8th grade math for 8 years and was a campus instructional specialist for 4 years.

My first step into district level leadership was 3 years ago as technology curriculum specialist for the AISD math department. I found through this position that I loved working with and supporting teachers yet I missed the camaraderie of belonging to a campus family.
Thinking about my passions of curriculum and instruction and my want to belong to a campus family/culture again I earned my principal certification through Region 13 Principal Certification Network.
While I am an aspiring administrator, or instructional leader which is what I like to say, I am embracing this new position and delighting in the relationships I am building with the campuses in my cadre.
